About Gregorian–Hijri conversion
The Gregorian calendar follows the sun, with a 365- or 366-day year, while the Hijri calendar follows the moon, with a 354- or 355-day year. A Hijri year therefore starts about 11 days earlier each Gregorian year, and Ramadan, the two Eids and the Hajj season cycle through all seasons in about 33 years.
Today's date is filled in automatically; change it to any day you need. The Hijri card is computed astronomically for the Madinah reference, and the other cards show the same day in the Solar Hijri, Julian and The Creator's calendars. To see a whole Hijri month, open the Monthly Calendar page.
